For Immediate Release
11 February 2007
Australian business owner travels the world on a crusade to help encourage the use of green, eco-friendly and organic products, and to contribute to the increasing awareness of climate change.
- Organisation: Geofeat International
- Tasmania, Australia
From Tasmania, home of the world's cleanest air [1], Roger will travel to India, Germany, the UK and the United States over the course of the next six weeks.
Between visiting trade expos and exhibitions, Roger will be staying in the homes of local residents. "I didn't like the thought of being cooped up in hotels for six weeks, and by staying with local people I'll get a chance to experience their unique customs and cultures."
By supporting businesses that produce products that are green, eco-friendly and organic, individuals can reduce the impact they have on the environment.
Roger left Australia on the 4 February 2007, and is currently in Delhi, having just attended the Indian Natural Beauty and Spa Expo.
India has a deep connection with spirit, and it will be interesting to see how the country manages to balance its continued economic growth, (fuelled predominately by fossil fuels) alongside its significant spiritual roots. Germany is now displaying a strong moral obligation by developing a world-class renewable energy industry, in both solar and wind energy. In the United Kingdom the organic movement is continuing to gain strength, and the United States finds itself in a unique position of being able to lead by example.
"For the first time in human history, we are confronted with a problem (climate change) that will need to be resolved collectively - regardless of race, religion or politics", says Roger. "People genuinely want to make the right choices, and if we, at Geofeat International, can help play a small role in helping people find and select eco-friendly products, so much the better."
Roger is available for interviews.
